Whether you’re a tourist or someone living in Iceland, it can be difficult to find out what’s happening in your area unless you’re following a million Instagram and Facebook accounts, so we’ve done the work for you.
We’ve put it all in one place on Iceland Events Hub, whether it’s music, sports, comedy, theatre, a museum exhibit or festival— we’ve got you.

Iceland Events Hub, established July 2026
Iceland Events Hub is a project by Unnur Ósk Sigurgeirsdóttir and Matty Murphy (fka Madi Murphy).
Unnur (she/her) was born in Iceland and lived in New York City for 20 years. She has experience in music management and knows the events industry well. Unnur spent her free time at jazz clubs, drag shows, the Comedy Cellar, concerts, and sports events. After moving back to Iceland, Unnur quickly recognized how challenging it was to discover upcoming events in one central place. This inspired her to create Iceland Events Hub—a platform designed to make it easier for both locals and visitors to find and explore everything Iceland has to offer.
Matty (he/him) is from the US, and has been working in the music industry for over a decade. He spent the last 8 years in NYC working at nightclubs and concert venues as well as attending a wide variety of events. He has been coming to Iceland since 2014, and spent half of 2016 and part of 2017 working in the music scene in Iceland. He has taken his experience living in Iceland and visiting as a tourist in combination with his time starting and running Of Monsters and Men Army (2012-2015) to help shape Iceland Events Hub to be as helpful as it can be. Some of the Icelandic artists and organizations Matty has worked with in the past as an intern and beyond include: Iceland Music Export, Bedroom Community, Of Monsters and Men, Berndsen, Vök, and more.
